Wash Yo Soul was created for Dirty Laundry in collaboration with OCD Cleaners as a reflection on what we often call "baggage." We all walk around carrying things-experiences, habits, memories-and instead of seeing them as burdens, I think of them as laundry: what we wear, live in, and show up as every day. The issue isn't having stuff, it's neglecting it or letting it build up. One dirty shirt you never wash can be just as heavy as carrying too much.

Set in a laundromat—a place we all end up at eventually-the painting explores care, mistakes, and maintenance, from mixing reds and whites to the small, playful micro-stories scattered throughout the scene, left open for you to interpret. At the same time, it nods to how wrapped up we are in our own cycles while the world keeps moving, often violently, around us. Wash Yo Soul is about tending to what we carry-not erasing it, just cleaning it so we can keep going
